Welcome to ecomunlocked. By using this website or working with me, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Who I Am
ecomunlocked is run by me, Karl Rutterford, an independent consultant helping founders and SMEs unlock growth online.
2. Services
I offer three main services:

The Fix Call - a focused session to diagnose growth challenges and give practical fixes.

Website Build or Rebuild - creating or improving websites with conversion, SEO and usability in mind.

Interim Growth Support - stepping in to support or lead teams when businesses are stuck.
All services are delivered in good faith, tailored to your needs. While I’ll bring my experience and best efforts, I cannot guarantee specific results.
3. Bookings & Payments

Fix Calls must be paid in full at the time of booking. A secure payment link will be provided.

Larger projects (website builds, rebuilds or interim support) may require a deposit, with the balance paid in agreed stages.

Payments are accepted via secure third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, or bank transfer).

Cancellations: Fix Calls can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. Deposits for projects are non-refundable once work has started.
4. Fix Call - Payment & Money Back Guarantee

A Fix Call is priced at £250.

Once a client agrees to book, I will send a secure payment link. Payment must be made in full to confirm the booking.

Once payment is received, I’ll confirm the session date/time (via Teams or Zoom).

At the end of the call, I will ask if the client feels they received the value expected.

If not, the session is covered by my money-back guarantee - meaning I will provide a full refund.

I may also ask for feedback if the reason for requesting a refund is not obvious during the call, but this is optional for the client.

If the client confirms they did receive value, I will ask them to confirm this in writing (by email) for clarity.

At this point, I may also ask for an optional testimonial, but there is no obligation.

If the client confirms value was delivered, no refund will be due.
5. Use of This Website
This site is for general information and guidance only. Please do not misuse it (e.g. spamming, attempting to copy or misuse content, or carrying out malicious activity).
6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (text, images, guides, frameworks, branding) belongs to ecomunlocked unless stated otherwise.

Materials created for a client as part of a paid project become the client’s property once full payment has been made.
7. Confidentiality
Anything we discuss during a Fix Call, consultation, or project will be kept confidential. By working with me, you agree to the same - not to share any proprietary tools, materials or resources provided without permission.
8. Liability
I provide advice and services based on 25+ years of experience in eCommerce and growth. However:

I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

I cannot be held responsible for factors outside my control, such as platform changes (e.g. Google, Meta), customer behaviour, or your team’s implementation of recommendations.
9. Privacy & Data
Your privacy is important to me. Please see the Privacy Policy for details on how your data is collected, stored and used.
10. Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms and Conditions occasionally. Any changes will be posted here, and continued use of the site or services means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by UK courts.
